DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. AMA Atlanta is the only chapter that participates in 12-15 DECA High School Industry Certification visits each school year. The purpose of the visit is to provide the DECA Stamp of Excellence, which represents the apex of DECA program quality. Only those programs that have successfully undergone rigorous reviews by leaders from business and industry are recognized with this distinction. During the three hour visit you will hear and judge student marketing presentations and learn more about their school based enterprise.
The DECA committee also seeks speakers and judges throughout the school year for conferences, regional meetings, and school visits.
