Young Professionals SIG

Purpose

The Young Professionals (YP) Special Interest Group (SIG) provides up-and-coming professionals with the opportunity to network with peers and senior-level executives through monthly events, happy hours/mixers and community service projects annually. Open to all, YPs typically range in age from 25 to 35, and are involved in marketing, public relations, sales and advertising. Student Members: The meetings are a great venue for you to get more involved... make connections... and launch your career. YP events include the annual Wine Tasting and Art Gallery exhibition, events on sports marketing, politics, starting your own company, and much more. There is no additional cost to participate.

Ideal Volunteers

We are seeking marketing professionals who are enthusiastic about the growth and development of young professionals within AMA Atlanta. Volunteers must be responsible and available to make the time commitment (monthly meetings and attendance at YP events). Strong interest in event promotion and coordination needed. Industry and event planning experience is a plus.
