Mentorship Program — The Link to Success
This year's program begins in November of 2008 and runs through the end of April of 2009 — we are currently recruiting participants.
The purpose of the AMA Atlanta Mentorship program is to join experienced marketers with those at the beginning of their marketing careers to share expertise, exchange ideas, and provide professional development tips and techniques. This program has been successful for years, providing assistance and building friendships.
Mentoring partnerships outside of one's own organization, as with AMA Atlanta's Mentorship program, helps establish an immediate comfort zone for the mentees, helping participants take part in candid conversations without the worry of retribution.
Benefits for Mentees:
- Gain key insights from experienced marketers to help you define a career path in marketing.
- Learn helpful hints to navigate through corporate politics and make a bigger impact in your current organization.
- Establish a better understanding of what marketing is, how marketing benefits organizations and effective marketing tactics you can employ.
