SIG's

Special Interest Groups provide AMA Atlanta members and non-members with opportunities to learn about more in-depth topics that affect their market or industry segment. SIGs hold either monthly or quarterly meetings and events depending - and all events are listed on the main calendar.

The five SIGs in AMA Atlanta include:

Market Research - This group has programs to help Atlanta's market researchers and marketers involved in research to learn, network and have fun. The primary goal of the AMA Atlanta market research SIG is to create a platform through which local marketing professionals interested in market research can develop and share their knowledge and skills. For more information on events, visit the calendar or contact Cameron Cramer, cam@MIprofs.com or Diane Light Waight, litewaight@aol.com.

Marketing Technology - From interactive media to e-marketing, the Marketing Technology SIG has guest speakers who are using cutting edge digital and interactive media to build brand and business. For more information on events, visit the calendar or contact Jay Bowden, jbowden@google.com or Walton Norris, Walton@google.com.

Non-Profit - This SIG provides marketing information to non-profit professionals who need ideas that work on a small budget. For more information on events, visit the calendar or contact Jana Scoville, janascoville@mindspring.com

Young Professionals - The YP SIG provides up-and-coming professionals with the opportunity to network with peers and senior-level executives through monthly events, happy hours/mixers and community service projects annually. Open to all, YP's typically range in age between the 25 to 35, and are involved in marketing, public relations, sales and advertising. There is no additional cost to participate. For more information on events, visit the calendar or contact Jessica Covello, jcovello@c21pr.com or Ashley Leckey, aleckey@guestrelationsmarketing.com.

Collegiate - Collegiate Affairs is designed to provide students with information on its annual Collegiate Conference, networking and resume building skills, the importance of membership in AMA and additional resources to help make the transition from college to the marketing profession.
