AMA Atlanta Chapter Pro Bono Project Announcement

The AMA Atlanta Chapter is currently recruiting for marketing volunteers to participate in the 2007-2008 Marketing Pro Bono Project.

Atlanta's nonprofits address some of our city's most challenging social and environmental problems, but often lack the operational resources to fulfill their potential. The AMA Atlanta Chapter Pro Bono Initiative seeks to close this gap and ensure more nonprofits have the marketing infrastructure they need to thrive. Specifically, the Pro Bono Initiative seeks to strengthen the infrastructure and sustainability of Atlanta's small to midsize nonprofits that impact our communities. If you are looking for a way to display your marketing talent to the larger Atlanta community, the pro bono project may be your solution. Marketing volunteers must be able to commit to 3-5 hours per week for 8-10 weeks; be a metro-Atlanta resident and be a marketing professional with 3+ years experience in specific areas.

Two projects will be completed during the 2007-2008 year. The first project will begin in October 2007 and end in January 2008. The second project will begin in February 2008 and end in May 2008. Recruiting for volunteers has begun for both projects. If you are interested in participating in this year's AMA Atlanta Chapter Pro Bono project, please email Jana Scoville at janascoville@mindspring.com.
